Connections Reloaded 1.5
Trying yet another theme (Connections Reloaded 1.5). Before I modified it, Connections Reloaded 1.5 looked like:
Been away from this for a while. Thinking about starting a food/recipe diary and might use the blog to do it. Would combine commentary on food and baseball . . . the best things in life.
Of course, in baseball news this past week–the Mitchell Steroids Report. No big surprises there. Lots of players using. Not convinced that this report will stop high school kids from using. Perhaps eventually the game will get back to being about more than just hitting home runs and throwing 98 mph fast balls. You don’t need steroids to have good fundamental baseball.
In food news, yesterday my friend Linnea and I cooked up an Italian feast: Cioppino (fish stew), Focaccia, Lasagna, Stuffed Shells. As Rachael Ray might say–“YUM-O”. I’ve included our Cioppino recipe on a separate page (see Pages list on the right –>). This will be the start of my food/recipe diary. The focaccia recipe came from Jeff Smith’s “The Frugal Gourmet Cooks Italian: Recipes from the New and Old Worlds Simplified for the American Kitchen” cookbook. My first time making cioppino, though I think this could get me eating more fish. Second time making focaccia, first with this recipe, not bad really.
