Food gone by

I’ve added a couple of recipes from the past few months.

In October I finally tried to make Lasagna Roll-ups. My mom makes these all the time and I thought they might be easier than making a regular pan of lasagna. I’m not entirely convinced that the cooking is any easier, but they are definitely easier to serve and taste mighty good. Plus they have more vegetables than regular lasagna, so that must be worth something . . .

In November I had a bunch of cherry tomatoes to use up (see the story in the recipe) so I made Pasta with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Goat Cheese, Kalamata Olives, and Pesto. Definitely a keeper.

Right now I’m in the midst of the Christmas Baking . . . spritz, rugalach, date bars (see last year’s entry).
